These are fixed term posts required for 37 hours per week until 31st March 2021. Secondments will be considered, subject to manager approval.
This is an exciting opportunity for someone who wants to be part of a dynamic team working in a service that is developing and evolving.
Based within the Council's Social Services Directorate, the posts will support all aspects of the commissioning cycle and will be primarily targeted at the following portfolios:
* Housing Support Grant (formerly Supporting People programme) - An early intervention programme to support activity, which prevents people from becoming homeless, stabilises their housing situation, or helps potentially homeless people to find and keep accommodation. Services commissioned support vulnerable people to address, the sometimes multiple, problems they face, such as debt, employment, tenancy management, substance misuse, violence against women, domestic abuse and sexual violence and mental health issues.
* Implementation of the Older Person's Strategy in Pembrokeshire and related portfolio of commissioned services - With a strong focus on early intervention and preventative services, Pembrokeshire County Council is committed to ensuring that people are supported to age well and to maintain their independence and wellbeing. Central to this work, is an inclusive approach to working with people from a range of backgrounds and ability to explore and take forward innovative ideas to deliver the best outcomes for the people of Pembrokeshire.
The roles will include working closely with people who use services, local communities, independent sector, third sector and statutory providers, health and social care professionals, Care Inspectorate Wales and other corporate colleagues.
