Cluster Provision Class Teacher (Maternity Cover)
This is a fixed term position required for 32.5 hours per week to cover maternity leave.
To support our successful transition provision, Milford Haven School is actively seeking a class teacher to deliver the national curriculum to year 7 pupils to cover a maternity leave starting in January 2020. The successful candidate will be joining an established team and will need to create a successful, nurturing, stable environment for the needs of the pupils transitioning from KS2 into KS3.
The successful candidate will need to take responsibility for the wellbeing and pastoral development of pupils in the cluster class; ensuring a high standard of behaviour, attendance and pastoral welfare and deliver an appropriate curriculum to enable pupils to make appropriate progress and eventually integrate into mainstream classes. The pupils will receive an hour of literacy and numeracy each day.
Welsh is not an essential skill.
